Cristec Sub brand of lens are unique in that the polycarbonate material is injected into a lens mold containing the polarization filter, providing incomparable “optically correct” performance.

Polycarbonate lens stress comes from bending the flat polarized filter into a curved shape and forcing it into the sunglass frame sometimes resulting in a "rainbow effect“.

Your eyes will thank you for Cristec Sub technology that virtually eliminates the stress effect and result in lenses with high polarization efficiency of 99.7%.

This manufacturing technique results in several advantages over traditional polarized technology:

* Enhanced shatterproof protection for sports specific applications

	SHC polarized lens provide incomparable value, period. Most competitively priced polarized lenses are cut out of a flat sheet of polarized film and fit into the sunglass frame. Although the optical center of the lens is fine for viewing, the edges can be distorted because they are forced to curve when fit to the frame.
	Sundog HC lenses are produced with a based curve distortion free injection and then cut into the actual size needed so they are never forced into a frame, resulting in high definition perfection positive viewing in accordance with all global standards including ANSI, CE, AS, and JS. Sundog’s SHC lenses are available in a large assortment of colors that are unavailable in flat film technology, resulting in a variety of fashionable and functional tints far beyond the ordinary.
	Our SHC technology also provides you with the highest level of scratch resistance in acrylic lenses,with similar qualities of higher prices glass polarized lenses without the weight of the heavier glass. Complimenting the technology in our lenses are the SDTR90 frames, a superior plastic material with remarkable memory and flexibility.
